What information Slice Club collects, why, and what you can do about it. Plain English, no small print.
Who we are
This website is run by Slice Club, the bottomless pizza restaurant at 271 Sharrow Vale Road, Sheffield S11 8ZF. When this policy says “we” or “us”, it means Slice Club. We decide how your information is used.
What we collect
Online bookings are handled by OpenTable. If you sign up for email updates, we collect your email address and your signup consent through MailerLite. If you contact us directly, we receive whatever you include in your message. Our hosting provider may process technical request information to serve and secure the website.
Booking information
OpenTable processes the details you provide when booking, including contact details, party size, date, time and any requests. We use reservation information to manage your visit. Review OpenTable’s privacy information in the booking flow.
Email signup information
When you submit our signup form, MailerLite receives your email address and records your subscription. We use it to send Slice Club updates about new pizzas, Wildcards and newly available tables.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and website performance. It does not use analytics cookies. Our current configuration excludes visitor data from the EU. We do not use Google Analytics.
Why we collect it
We use your email address to send marketing updates with your consent. We use information you send us directly to reply to your enquiry. Our hosting provider processes technical information to deliver and protect the website. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website, or on steps at your request before a booking where applicable.
Email marketing consent
We only send marketing emails if you sign up for them. Signing up is separate from booking: booking a table doesn’t put you on our mailing list.
Booking providers
The embedded booking form loads from OpenTable. OpenTable receives technical information needed to serve its form and manages its own cookies and privacy choices.
Email service providers
We use MailerLite to manage email subscriptions and send our updates. The embedded signup form loads from MailerLite and sends signup information directly to that service. See MailerLite’s privacy policy for details of its processing.
How long we keep it
This static website does not have its own booking database. Reservations are managed through OpenTable. Direct messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and meet any applicable obligations.
Unsubscribing
Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email from Slice Club. You can also ask us to help by emailing [email protected].
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and analytics
We do not enable Google Analytics or advertising integrations. Our embedded OpenTable booking service and MailerLite signup form load third-party scripts and process technical request information. These providers may use cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies.
